Our Statement of 
Faith

Grounded in scripture, guided by grace — here’s what 
we stand for as a community of believers in Christ.

What We Believe

  1. There is one God - a Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  2. The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.
  3. No revelation from man supersedes scripture — sola scriptura
  4. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
    believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” - John 3:16
  5. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus, and not by works. Once saved, a
    progressive work of sanctification begins.
  6. Upon salvation, the believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God.
  7. The gifts of the Holy Spirit still apply to the church today. We are also called to test the spirits (because deception abounds).
  8. God has a special relationship with Israel – the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - and the land of Israel, and Jesus will reign from Jerusalem in His Millennial Kingdom after the great tribulation.
  9. There will be a rapture of the Church.
  10. All things culminate in the creation of a new heaven and a new earth.

About Us

Started in 2022 by Anton and Nicky this is a small community church in Makarau near Kaukapakapa.

We are a Bible-believing church devoted to worship, discipleship, and grace. Grounded in scripture and led by the Holy Spirit, we proclaim salvation through Jesus Christ. Our fellowship is open to all who seek truth, community, and hope in God’s eternal promise.
